What we look for:
Although functional roles differ, we look for the following common qualities in all interns:
At Mindful Boston, interns are self-starters. We look for people who are passionate and innovative, regularly finding new and creative ways to do things. You will be encouraged to create new aspects of your own job. If one of the internship position titles above doesn't suit you, you can create your own.
INTEREST IN MINDFULNESS MEDITATION
Previous experience with meditation is not required, but a general interest is vital. Interns are required to attend various meditation events and classes.
That being said, this is a work position. If your interest is primarily to deepen your meditation practice, please enroll in one of our trainings.
Most interns start with a summer project. And then some continue to work with Mindful Boston for multiple semesters, in order to build on their skills and training.
